Dario Allegra is an Assistant Professor (RTDB) at Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, University of Catania. He is author of more than 40 papers published in international conference and journals. He has worked on CH since 2012 and part of his PhD thesis focuses on such field. He has already served as guest editor for a CH special issue in international journal and he has been chairs of 5 workshops.
Received an MSc degree in Computer Science from the University of Sannio in 1999 and a Ph.D. Degree in “Computer Science and Telecommunication” from the University of Salerno in 2003. In 2004 he joined the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering (DIEI), where is now an Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio. He has authored over a hundred research papers in International Journals and Conference Proceedings. He has been guest editor of special issues on Cultural Heritage and on Smart Distributed Sensors hosted in Pattern Recognition Letters. He is a member of the editorial board of the "Journal of Ambient Intelligence and Humanized Computing”, Springer Verlag, and a member of the Topical Advisory Panel of Journal of Imaging (MDPI). He has been chair of PatReCH "Pattern Recognition for Cultural Heritage”, International Workshop held in conjunction with ICIAP 2019 (1st) and with ICPR 2020 (2nd). He is currently an associate editor of the Journal of Ambient Intelligence for Humanized Computing (Springer).
Alessandra Scotto di Freca was assistant professor in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering (DIEI) of the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio. She has authored over 50 publications in international journals, books and conference proceedings. She has been guest editor of first special issue on Cultural Heritage in Pattern Recognition Letters and of the second international Workshop on Pattern Recognition for Cultural Heritage.
Filippo Stanco is an associate professor at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, University of Catania. His main research is about Cultural Heritage valorization and exploitation through computer science and he started in 2007 the project Archeomatica. He is author of more than 120 papers published in international scientific conferences and journals. He has been editor of 2 books and 3 special issues on CH. He is currently associate editor of Journal of Computing and Cultural Heritage. He has served as chair of 5 international conferences and workshops. He has been 10 times invited speaker for conferences and workshops on CH.
